This memorial website celebrates the memory of our loved one, our father, our son, our brother, our friend Anthony (Tony) Barone who was born on October 23, 1971 and passed away on July 23, 2007 at the age of 35. He will be remembered forever along with the special way he touched each of our lives.
Tony was "one of the good guys". If you ever needed a laugh, he was there. If you ever needed a story, he was there. If you ever needed someone to listen, he was there. Tony put passion in everything he did and inspired everyone he met. His energy and enthusiasm for life was contagious. Tony was a unique individual that could break the plains of any social situation in any social culture. You just knew immediately you were in good company standing with him, anywhere. At home, he was a devoted family man. He and his wife of ten years, Denise, are the proud parents of four children: Nicholas, Christopher, Gianna, and (in memory) Julia. In the office Tony was an honest, ethical, and knowledgeable partner. He strengthened client relationships with confidence and taught the sales culture and techniques better than most. Among friends, Tony was easy-going and fun-loving. He was also one of the bravest people you could meet. In just under two years, Tony battled 3 different types of cancer. From the beginning, he told us he had nothing to hide. During this battle, he shared the hurdles of cancer treatment with dignity and a sense of humor that was distinct to Tony. Throughout the final days of this battle, Tony faced the inevitable with the tireless support of his family, his strong faith, his relentless sense of humor and endless amount of courage. There was always something to learn about Tony because he lived life everyday as an open book. What you saw is what you got...and if you weren't careful, you were going to get it. If you were lucky enough to be infected with Tony's spirit, you are living a better life for it. The Barone family is a caring and loving family that will always have Tony's spirit to comfort them.
The Barone Family Fund has been established by the Friends of Tony Barone to help support the futures of Denise (wife), Nicholas (7), Christopher (5), and Gianna (3) ...in hopes that they will continue to live strong and walk tall as Tony always did.
